    De-dup getting stuck

I recently scanned all of my library (~63,000 tracks), which took a few hours. When I try to run de-dup it gets stuck at about 90% of the way through and makes no further progress (the 90% is just an estimate since there is no official percentage count). The files are all stored on my local hard drive. Do I just need more patience? After letting it sit for about 90 minutes without any further progress I assumed something must be going wrong.

    Re: De-dup getting stuck

It seemed to be stuck at detecting duplicates, but it turned out I just needed more patience. Seems like the progress bar wasn't advancing evenly according to the amount of time it would actually take. After I let it sit for another hour or so it completed the job.

    Thanks for your feedback.
A problem causing poor de-dup performance has been identified; the next update will improve duplicate detection speed.
