Raspberry Pi Asset UPnP upgrade from 6.2 to 6.3

    Hello all

Is there an upgrade process from 6.2 to 6.3 or do we have to do a complete reinstall and start afresh?

    Thanks

Copy the install files over the top of the existing (shutdown asset first) to upgrade and not lose any settings.

    Hi Spoon

    Thanks for the quick reply.

Is my install messed up or non-typical

    pi@raspberrypi:~ $ cd Asset
    pi@raspberrypi:~/Asset $ ls
    Asset-R6.2-Linux-ARM32-registered
    pi@raspberrypi:~/Asset $ cd Asset-R6.2-Linux-ARM32-registered
    pi@raspberrypi:~/Asset/Asset-R6.2-Linux-ARM32-registered $ ls
    bin
    pi@raspberrypi:~/Asset/Asset-R6.2-Linux-ARM32-registered $ cd bin
    pi@raspberrypi:~/Asset/Asset-R6.2-Linux-ARM32-registered/bin $ ls
    asset-120x120.png asset.css AssetImages AssetReg.bin AssetUPnP Versions
    pi@raspberrypi:~/Asset/Asset-R6.2-Linux-ARM32-registered/bin $ ./AssetUPnP

So when you mentioned to do an install over the old version, within this directory?

    Thanks

Yes in that folder, if you unzip the .gz file, then it might have a different folder structure.
