Year/Decade separate fields in Browse Tree

    Hi,

I noticed that the Edit Browse Tree field Year produces a list of decades followed by years
    e.g.

    1990's
    2000's
    2010's
    2016
    2014
    2010
    2009
    2003
    1999
    1998

Is there a way to separate these out? Perhaps a toggle im missing somewhere?

If not i think it would be a good idea.
In other UPNP servers i've seen year as a child of the parent decade i.e.

    Decade
    +\Year

    Which gives the results:
    2010's
    -2010
    -2011
    -2012
    -2013
    etc

Understood. Is there anything on the horizon planned to separate these into two fields for the tree browser?

Hi Spoon! I hope you didn't totally reject this idea, cause unfortunately I cannot get used to how the year listing works. Even after many years! So I wish for these options:

          • sort years chronologically (oldest on top)

          • separate listings of year & decade

Alternatively - if you don't want to add options - please at least sort the years chronologically like the decades for a consistent behaviour.
