    Asset UPnP - broadcast issue

    I had been running Asset for a few months from my 2011 iMac principally to serve my Naim Muso. I noticed also that Asset was also on my Samsung TV. All well and good. Great software no issues

    A few days ago I noticed that the neither the Naim or the TV showed Asset. I reset the Naim, the router, restarted the Mac, reinstalled the Asset software, checked the firewall but still no joy.

    I also noticed that another piece of streaming software (for iPhone and iPad) that I use (MusicStreamer) is not connecting to the iMac, suggesting the issue is either with the network or the Mac.

    Anyone out there able to shed any light at all on this thorny issue?

    Be grateful for any insight.

    Will be security software, try uninstalling it.

      Yes, I&*8217;ve just had a look. I use MacAfeee anti-virus. I turned off the Firewall and Asset was returned to the Naim. I turned it back on and it all remained in situ! Curious but I know where to look first next time!
