Req: The ability to save preferences to a file

From time to time my dBPowerAmp resets itself and loses all information, similar to that of someone using a cleaner program i.e. CCleaner. I don't use such software but I keep having to keep re-entering all of my preferences as they are somehow lost as if the program installed fresh.

I was informed that user settings were saved to the registry. It would be really nice if I could save my data/preferences to a file so that in the event of a "reset" (my settings are lost) I don't have to re-enter everything again.

If there were a way to apply my settings from a file it would just take a second to do so and not several minutes trying to figure out where this or that setting is in the program.

Thank you for your time and consideration,

    Sawz

    Select Windows Start Button

    type: regedit

    run Registry Editor

    browse to:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Illustrate

right click on illustrate >> export

this will save the settings to a file. To restore them, double click the saved file.
