    Secure Rip Skipping

Have been using CD Ripper to rip a load of CDs to FLAC. AccurateRip cannot configure for some reason (has only accepted 1 CD of about 50+ ripped) but I use secure ripping to make sure there aren't any errors.

Until recently all had seemed OK but I recently noticed one of the tracks which had ripped and was "secure" had an error in it.

Should this not have been picked up with the "secure" method?

depends what kind of error. If secure, dbpa evidently got matching CRCs when it did multiple passes. Are you sure that the CD itself doesn't exhibit this same error when playing via your computer? A bigger issue is that you haven't gotten AR to configure. You should resolve that before you continue ripping CDs.

Keep feeding it discs until AccurateRip configures.

I try to configure it every time I insert a CD but 99 times out of 100 it just gives me the same message that it can't do it (see previous thread on this issue).

The error in question is just a single skip - like there was a tiny scratch on the CD or something but as I say when it ripped, it said it was "Secure". Haven't noticed anything else at the moment.
