Thread: folder converter

  1. #1

    Cool folder converter

    Hi All.
I'm trying to convert a few folders. Converting is not the problem. The problem is the output folder/file. My original folders are in alpha order artist/ album name. Then within each folder is the track no. artist and then track name.
Everytime i convert, the output goes with whats in the folder and not with how i want it in alpha order artist/album name.
can some one point me in the right direction.
ie abba / voulez-vous and not when i convert abba - gimme gimme gimme, abba - have a dream. it means i have to create another folder and put the converted files back into them.

i hope this all makes sense.

    thanks

    Re: folder converter

Change the Output To naming to:

    [origpath]\[origfilename]

and the output name will match the source folder + filename.

Yes, the same folder name as the source. You should set the base location as a different location as not to mix up the source and new files.
