    Question Metadata From Existing Files

I am re-ripping some discs in lossless that I had previously done years ago in lossy 192kHz mp3 format. I am happy with the current metadata including the album art, and was wondering if there was a way to use this for the metadata in CD Ripper?

Using mp3tag you can export metadata to text files. Once you have re-ripped the discs you can then use mp3tag to upload the information from the text files to populate the tags.

or with mp3tag, one can load up the newly ripped files, then load up the old mp3 files just below in the active window and with a couple of clicks automatically transfer the old metadata to the new files.
