Hi there,
Just wonder if anyone know whether Perfect Tunes ID Tags can edit metadata of DSD/.dsf files and if it support non-English characters like Chinese and Japanese.
Thanks!

The next update on Windows will add DSD tagging ability.

Hi Spoon,
Does ID Tag supports Chinese/Japanese/Korean for DSF files? I&*8217;m using PerfecTUNES for mac R2.5(1). I tried to edit a few DSF songs for Japanese names but ID Tags just won&*8217;t save it properly. For your information, the setting under CODEC are in Unicode-16 (for both mp3 and Wave ID Tagging, even though they may not be relevant for DSF files). Appreciate your help.
Just tried and it is not unicode, I will make a note to look into it, it could be this is by design as players are not unicode compatible.

Thanks. Looking forward to your reply.
Any update Spoon?
We have updated the codec, if you install R17.1 (dbpoweramp) in the testing section of this forum, then copy the 'DSD SACD.dll' from the dbpoweramp decoder folder, to PerfectTUNES decoder folder, it will work.

Hello, I have the very latest version downloaded but when I try to rip some of Cd's it can't find the titles and sgugessts putting in the URL or other reference to the CD. I'm not sure what that is or where I could find these references. Also in the look up you can put artist and album title but it doesn't find anything, there is a big box below this box but can't seem to type into this one. Can anybody help? thanks
For how many CDs can it not find metadata? most of a few.
If you type into the box:
artist:
New Order
album:
blue monday
then clock 'lookup' you should get a result from disc ogs, if you do not then look at your firewall and time and date on computer, to ensure good.

Thanks, Spoon. Forgive my ignorance but I just cannot find the file "DSD SACD.dll", nor the folder dbpoweramp decoder folder, nor the PerfectTUNES decoder folder. I have installed R17.1 for mac like you said. Do I have to do anything else before I can find those file and folders?
