Asset New Albums issue

hi, am considering buying Asset, but am bumping into an issue with the 'New Albums' function,

i had Asset configured to watch a media folder filled with m4a files; all works well and new albums are added. however, when i add a second folder to watch (with flac files), and add new content to this folder, it is correctly indexed and added to the library - BUT somehow not added to the New Albums list.

does this issue sound familiar, and any clue on how to remedy it? i already played around with increasing the item count to allow for more albums, but to no avail. thanks for your reply!

The new albums is generated by the files 'last modified date' not when it was added to asset.
