    Folder empty for 24 hours

    Hi
    I have 3000 folders and 27000 tracks
If I add a folder with tracks in it, the folder appears within a few minutes but if I click on it it shows as "No content found for this container" even though there is content there. This persists for 24 hours or more. If I update a folder, say adding artwork, the change shows almost immediately
The only way to get the content to show up is to hit Refresh All. Is that right? Shouldn't the new folder having been seen with its artwork also have its content?
Do I have to hit Refresh All or Detect Changes every time I add a track? Or do I have a Setting Wrong somewhere?
    Thanks

You would have to do 'Refresh (detecting changes)'

Once you have more than a few thousand files on a network share then Windows no longer receives any notification of new files appearing automatically and scans have to happen manually.

Any reason you don't run Asset on the NAS?

OK. Thanks. Mildly irritating but we'll have to live with it
