Thread: Variable Bit Rate (VBR) mode is missing from mp3 Compression Settings

  1. #1

Question Variable Bit Rate (VBR) mode is missing from mp3 Compression Settings

I've been a long-term user of dbpoweramp and presently have V16.5. I recently noticed there is no option for VBR encoding in the mp3 compression settings (see attachment). I have uninstalled, reinstalled and it made no difference.

Please advise as to what might resolve this problem.

You have the encoder set as 'Wave', change to mp3 (lame)

    Now that's embarrassing! Duh. Thanks.
