Is there a client app for Android?

I plan on installing the server on a Synology NAS.

There are many client apps, depending on your streamer. Most have their own but BubbleUPnP is good.
There used to be a client app produced by illustrate and I think it's still available (although I don't see where), but development stopped because (I believe) different streamer manufacturers handle things.... differently.
