    QNAP and DSD

    Hi
I have a friend with a new QNAP NAS with the latest Asset on it.
It works fine until we drop a DSD (64) file on the NAS.
This causes asset to crash. Most odd.
I downloaded Asset to his desk top.
Pointed to the same file on his desktop and it works fine.
Back on the NAS I created a DSD folder, dropped a NON DSD file in and all was good.
Added a single DSD track and it crashed again. Deleted the DSD file restarted asset and all was well.
Please let me know what I'm doing wrong.
Using a new NAIM NDX2 which plays the file fine via USB of from the desktop asset. The only issue is when we drop the same file onto the QNAP NAS drive.
    Thanks
    Allan

    Thanks for the bug report.

What exact Asset version did you use, R6.1, R6.2 beta or other?

I would very much like you to send the problematic file to me ( peter@dbpoweramp.com ) for anaylsis.

    Hi Peter
I’m not onsite but it would have been 2-3 weeks ago downloading the current QNAP Asset
I’ll try send you a track soon but I suspect and DSD file would trip it up.
    Thanks Allan

Thanks for the file and the details. The bug has been confirmed with R6.1 on QNAP.

The latest beta version addresses this-

You can install it on top of your registered R6.1 and it will act as registered.
