    dbpoweramp leaks customer information ?

It has been brought to my attention that dbpoweramp.com leaks customer data to public.

Simple web search show customer information including name, email address, and optional address information as well as dbpoweramp licenses and invoices.

    See:

    Google search:

    Bing search:

    According to

    secure.dbpoweramp.com/store_terms.aspx

Illustrate agree to "Never sell, share or give away your details to any 3rd party"

    Hey Andrew,

I've seen it several times, that users have posted their order number in the forum. Maybe that is the source of the problem.

There are around 20 leaked links, google would not be able to index our site, so they did not leak from us, if the leak was from us there would be much more then 20...

The link has to have been posted on the internet, perhaps by the user, perhaps by some software which compromised their emails. For those links we will remove them from our system, to protect the user.

All the links have been made safe, they related to 5 individuals. The leaks have been traced and they originated by actions performed by the end user, for example search google for:

        "secure.dbpoweramp.com/getreg.aspx?ordernum=406608595"

and it shows where the original link came from, an online virus scanner which publishes the link of the url used for the scan.
