I've decided to bin the idea of being a non-admin user. It was advised that for Windows 7 it can be a security risk. But it causes too many other issues, not just this.
The history is, dBpoweramp was installed while my login was an admin. It could be that it's down to changing the same account to be non-admin last year, so music converter was installed as admin but run as non-admin, but the same account.Comment
