    Jmusics,

I have been informed, and also learned first-hand, that 'VLC' is a very unstable and temperamental app regarding playing music. In fact I binned it last year. Though apparently, it is still a fairly good VIDEO player.

I may have even started a thread on this forum comparing 'VLC' against other players. I can't quite remember though.

    Cheers,

    Paul

The dbpa ripper creates digital files. Any player that can play such files will work. That said, different players have differing features. Just give vlc a try and see if its features suit you.

            Try foobar2000: https://www.foobar2000.org/download

When Paul first talked about VLC, I had a look at it, and in comparison with foobar2000, it is very limited.

VLC is a reputable video player, but in the past it has had issues as an audio player.

As soon as I was introduced to foobar, on here, I did away with 'VLC' immediately; and have not looked back since. That was in June 2017. In my experience, I found it to be as unreliable as 'WMP'.
