Hello,
Just got my MBP 2018 yesterday. I thought the Batch Converter would use all 12 cores when converting.
To my surprise, only 8 on 12 are used :(
Is it a bug or dBpoweramp's limit ?
Thanks,
Eric

Under settings / converter:
Limit conversion threads to: [ ]
The default value (when nothing is set) is 8. You can override it to anything you like to raise the limit.
Note that dBpoweramp will not use more threads than the number of detected hardware threads regardless of this.
Hi,
Thanks. I've given a try with 12 but as soon as I close the settings window, then re-open it to check, nothing is written (so 8 is max).
Either I don't write it how it should be, either it's a bug :'(
Thanks,
Eric
Hello,
Could you have a look at this please, so I (we) could use all (our) available cores in Batch Converter ?
Thanks,
Eric
Indeed doesn't work as it should. Fixed version (beta) will be up shortly. Sorry about this.
