Thread: Windows WMA Codec missing

    Windows WMA Codec missing

I just upgraded from 14.X to the latest version 16.4. In the batch converter, I noticed the windows media (WMA) encoder is missing. This worked under the previous version without problem. I re-downloaded and installed the codec from the dbPoweramp site and that did not fix it. What am I doing wrong?

It is likely you have the older 43 bit version of R14 installed, so run this program:

Then reinstall dBpoweramp then the WMA codec.

Uninstalling everything and reinstalling worked. Thanks.
