    .wav metadata

Is dbpoweramp a safe guarantee to tag metadata to .wav files? If i transfer 24/48 .wav from computer with dbpoweramp to an external hard drive, will the id3 tags remain? if not, please tell me a good way to tag metadata to .wav files.

my plan is to play files to an external blu ray player through usb. the blu ray is connected to speakers and amp and also displays art work (sony). this is my long-term hi-res format of choice, so need help.

Of course, I am converting the 24-48 to .wav through dbpoweramp first.

The tags would maintain, however note not many programs will read wave tags.

    Most people would use FLAC.
