CD Ripper OSx - WAV format Unknown Album

Using MAC version of cd ripper v 16.3 to rip cd to WAV and flac format. I am running PLEX server to access my music library. In Plex a file ripped in WAV has "Unknown Album" while in flac format the correct album name is displayed. I am thinking of purchasing this product but have not done so as I could not figure out to overcome the"Unknown Album".

As a new user it is probably my mistake so if anyone has suggestions your posting will be appreciated.

Is the Plex Server able to handle tags for wav files? Have you checked (with different tool) that the wav files are tagged?

I have just tried two other music players Audirvana and JRiver the wav files do have the album name as well as the track name, genre etc. Seems Plex has a problem displaying all meta data of .wav file. Guess I will just stick to .flac. Thanks
