Mac R16.2 : Best settings to upsample FALC 16/44.1 to 24/96

    Hello,

First I've done this with Sox using high quality settings. The problem is that it deletes album art from files in my new converted FLAC files :(

I'd like to give dBpoweramp a try. Are theres special settings to apply with resample DSP effect and bit depth one to get the best quality ?

For best quality, in what order should I place the DSPs please ?
    1- Resample
    2- Bit Depth

    ?

    Thanks for your help

    Best,

    Eric

    Bit depth first, then resample.

Eric, I assume you are aware that re-sampling 16-bit, 44.1kHz flac files to 24-bit, 96kHz will not give you hi-resolution files with increased quality, just much larger files?

Thanks Spoon, but no special settings for bit depth options ?

mville : Yes I'm aware, but I purchase on Qobuz and Onkyo music 24/96 FLAC files, so I want to get the same for all my FLAC library, and my DAC settings
