Question Foldr/File Maximum Size for Asset?

I just ran into a new, for me, experience. I installed in my musoc library a single folder, p.14 gb in size containing 531 FLAC files. When rendered in Asset, I did have all of the files, but these were present as two different folders, the first contaibing 462 of the files and the second containing files 463 through 531. The folder is the full album by Warner named Debussy, The Complete Works. This contains 33 CDs.

Is there a single file/folder size that Asset handles and does Asset automatically split a single file into multiple files when a certain size is exceeded? What are the size limitations?

    Thanks in advance,

    Tom

The OS might have size limits, especially if there is a network share in use.

Asset has no size limits that we know of.
