Flac Compression Rates

Unable to convert 24bit 48k Wav files to Flac (No compression)

When I set the compression ratio to 'Uncompressed' The file size shows 32% compression.
I have tried different compression settings but none are able to convert at 100% rate.

I am using the current release version 16.4.
I have tried the usual, download and install again with no joy.

Any help would be welcome.

It is not possible to have uncompressed flac with 24 bit.

Is this just with version 16.4?

I have used dbpoweramp for conversion for a considerable time and have a large quantity of music in Flac format, predominantly 24bit in uncompressed format.

Were the previous versions capable of this uncompressed format in 24 bit?

Please keep in mind that compressed does not mean lossy. Even with this kind of data compression the audio files are lossless.

FLAC is not able to have uncompressed 24 bit, for any version.

I have converted a Wav file 48k at 24 bit to Flac at 100% uncompressed format, Same file size.

This is an example of a music file converted at 100% 24 bit.
