Thread: Using meta data providers to fix incomplete tagging.

Using meta data providers to fix incomplete tagging.

I now have the paid for versions of dbpoweramp and perfect tunes and so far very happy with both.

Having a big FLAC library ripped with a bunch of different software over many years I'm now trying to fix a few of the issues. The rips are good but the tagging was done with software that offered no choices in metadata providers. Consequently I have about a hundred compilation albums which don't have track artist data. Mostly these either have "Various Artists" or are left blank.

Short of re-ripping or manually typing in the artists is there any way to pull this data from the internet and slot it in?

Currently, post rip, in PerfectTUNES you can only obtain artwork from the internet, not tag data.
