Calling J River users ... Benefits of using Batch Ripper?

    Hi all

Long time dBp user of Batch Ripper here.

I need to do a batch convert of my lossless music. Are there benefits of using Batch Ripper over J River? I am assuming the quality is the same.

Is Batch Ripper faster or have some other benefit?

    Cheers
    Z

I am not familiar with J Rivers conversion abilities, so cannot comment.

Batch Converter and Batch Ripper are 2 different things. Please confirm which software you are referring to?

In both dBpoweramp Music Converter and JRiver Media Center, if you are converting to a lossless format, then the quality will be the same. If you are converting to a lossy format, then the quality will depend on the codec and the options/parameters used, when converting.

I too, am not familiar with J River and it's supported codecs.
