    Auto Capitalization?

    What's happening here?

Is there any way I can correct this?

    Thanks in advance.

You haven't given us much to go on here.

Perhaps there is a problem with your player software or your tags?

My tags are correct. Very sure. This is an album artist / album view. My other server shows it correctly (Synology Media Server) on all clients. And all clients show it incorrectly with Asset.

What platform/OS is Asset running and which version of Asset?

I have it running on my Synology NAS. Latest version, just purchased, downloaded and installed yesterday. R6.

I guess I could update the tags into BB King and then change them back. See what it does...

Weird. Asset is doing this to a-ha too. Making it A-Ha. I'm 100% sure my tags say a-ha.

And I've got two identical John Lee Hooker entries with different albums.

You mention Auto Capitalization. Just to confirm, there is no such option in your version of Asset? I ask, because I only use the windows version and I am not seeing this issue (client is Asset Control):

It may be a bug with the Synology NAS version, but Spoon would have to comment on this.

Nope, there's no such option as far as I can see.

I have the Debian Linux version running on my Synology NAS (Intel).

BubbleUPnP control point doesn't seem to have these problems, but 2 other I tried do and not so with the Synology Media Server.

Bug confirmed, thanks for your patience.

A full rescan cycle should get rid of incorrectly capitalized tags from your library.

For reference, the problematic values must have been once picked by Asset from some files, and they stick in Artist name tables even if they no longer exist in your files.
