Converting from i tunes to MP3

    Hello,

I'm new to this, this was recommended for being able to transfer music from i tunes on a MAC to an MP3 player. Never done before but I want to get my 9 year old a music player and the MP3's are so much cheaper than I pods, and I only want it to play music etc....I have a MAC with I tunes and wondering how easy it is to transfer??
    any advice appreciated

You mean an "mp3 player". An "mp3" is a type of music file. There are lots of non-apple mp3 players. If your music files are m4a files, you'll need a digital music player that can handle both mp3 and m4a. There are many of these at all price ranges. In any case, if the files are on your computer, it should be easy to use another music player instead of an ipod.
