    strange tag when ripping mp3

    Hi:

I recently moved CD ripper over to my new Win10. Now when I rip a cd I get a .- at the end of the title tag instead of .mp3 I can change it manually to .mp3 and it then plays, but I'm wondering if I have to reload a codec or something. Thanks!

Did you copy and paste your naming string (Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V)? Have you a a newline at the end of your naming string?

yes it's ._ (I mistakenly put the .- earlier) I can play it if I type in .mp3, but somehow can't get it configured to do that automatically

Ah, I see what's happening. I was interrupting the rip after the first couple of tracks had that ._ I see that if I wait until the whole cd completes, then it adds the .mp3 Works differently from the last version I used, but works well. Sorry for the bother!

Do you use Replay Gain on base of the complete album or folder?
