Cover art and meta data not available when from a m3u playlist?

I have a number of .m3u playlists which are scanned correctly and appear in the Playlists container. They play OK, however, when opened they are listed in the form "title - artist/album artist" with no track numbering (not important), meta data, or cover art (which is, and are embedded in the flacs). When a track is played the control point has no art t show, and the renderer has no meta data to display on screen in the Artist field (which is my preferred display mode).

    Is this fixable please?

Linn Kazoo and Linn Akurate DSM, Asset running on QNAP.

This is correct for m3u files, as the titles from the m3u are used.

The tracks in the m3u are scanned by Asset under 'Contains Audio Tracks'?

Yes, they are files also scanned in the Audio Tracks directories.

So it takes the info from the *EXTINF in the m3u? That's a shame. Is there any way for it to include the cover art embedded in the flac itself? Or can that be included in the *EXTINF somehow?

We do not have support for this, sorry.
