It gives message "Drive z: does not exist"

It is Windows which is giving that error, it means the network share is not available to which ever account Asset Configuration is running in, normally it is the same account if you have administrator access rights, how many user accounts do you have? Try logging onto each of them and mapping the network drive on each.

Many thanks, Spoon. I am using my own account which has administrator rights.

The only other account is my wife's which she uses on rare occasions. I have now changed her user status to administrator, logged in as her, mapped the drive Z: and found she has exactly the same issue as me.

Then went back to my account and find that nothing has changed.

It shows the Network location for flac (i.e. Z) that doesn't appear in Audio Library Select Folder
Just to confirm, you can double-click the mapped drive Z: and it opens in File Explorer, showing your flac folders and files?

Launch dBpoweramp Music Converter. This will open the dBpoweramp Music Converter: Select Audio File(s) window. Are you now able to navigate to the mapped drive Z:?

So, the problem appears to be with your Asset UPnP R6.1 installation. Maybe, try un-installing Asset, rebooting, re-installing Asset as administrator, rebooting and then try:
Asset UPnP Configuration >> Advanced Settings >> Audio Library >> Add Folder

I have already tried this but I'll give it another go.

    Re: Problem scanning library

Bingo! That worked a treat! Just scanned my entire library in just a few minutes.

Many thanks for your help, mville. Also thanks to Spoon and Dat Ei. It's really appreciated, guys.

Not sure what I did different this time but the main thing is it worked. Strange thing is I still can't see Z: mapping. All that matters is it works.

Now, I can dispense with Linn Kazoo Server and set up everything exactly the way I want it in Asset. Thanks again.
