Problem Converting m4a Files received by iphone memo app : clAAC::DecodeBlock

    Hello

we tried Version 14 to 16 and still have the same Problem, as example:

    Error converting to Wave, 'D:\transfer\Import Extern\Laptop\Defekt\2210_ecbn_trainer_kujala.m4a' to 'D:\transfer\Import Extern\Laptop\Defekt\2210_ecbn_trainer_kujala.wav'
Error m4a audio file is corrupt. [clAAC::DecodeBlock]

Software is running under Server 2008 x86 SP2

Under Win10 the conversion apparently works with same installed Software and codecs...

Any chance that there is a fix?

    Best regards

These 2 contradict themselves. You can upload one of the files to dropbox and provide a link please.

Ok looking into this...the file attached decodes to 47 seconds, it is supposed to be 48 seconds long, dBpoweramp thinks it is corrupted, also foobar2000 does, which uses different aac decoder, so I am certain this file is corrutped:

1 out of 1 tracks converted with major problems.

                  Source: "Z:\del1\2210_ecbn_trainer_kujala.m4a"
Reading from MP4 file failed: frame 2036 of 2107.
Error decoding source file at 0:47.205 : Unsupported format or corrupted file

There is a decoding option in dBpoweramp >> dBpoweramp Control >> Audio Codecs : List / Options 'Decoder Options >> m4a / mp4 Decoding' there is an option there to ignore errors.
