Yes. And when the files load up, click CONVERT. Then choose ID Tag Update as the codec. Not flac. Start with only an album or two to test. I cannot even recall what you are trying to do. Delete all sort tags?

      Hi Garym,

After it scans (which takes a few mins), this pop-up appears - where I just don't see the option you kindly mention?

      Much apologies!

you must not have installed the ID TAG UPDATE codec from Codec Central yet. Install this then try again.

EDIT. hmmm, supposed to be installed by default. Have you scrolled down on that popup list of codecs to see if it is listed. In fact you seem to be missing lots of codecs there. Are you windows or Mac.

          Hi Garym,

          I'm on Windoze_10, PC.

Yes, I have tried to scroll down the list many times, but to no avail.

I think I noticed a small 'update' pop-up earlier this evening, but I got side-tracked preparing screenshots. I mean, I may not be on the most up to date version of Illustrate?

this is not an update issue. This option has long been available. So not sure the problem.

So I'm missing some codecs? Which is obviously why they're not showing up?

Are you selecting BATCH converter. That is what you need.

Yes I am. I believe I select this within the very first window which opens.

See pic at link.. This is what I see when I open BATCH CONVERTER, select some files, then click CONVERT. Note that I have several codecs here that are not default and require installing. But the ID TAG UPDATE Utility Codec is supposed to be installed by default with the program.

Gee, wow; you have a massive drop-down list compared with mine! I think I only have about 7 codecs.

Like I said, some of those I had to manually install. Most I don't actually need anyhow. Mostly need FLAC, mp3, and some of the utiility codecs like TEST CONVERSION, Replaygain, ID TAG UPDATE etc.I don't use WAV, OGG, AAC, Windows Media anyhow.

Well I suppose they are handy to have if ever. I to don't use Wav. (unless it's a Cubase project), and WMA is a complete no-no! Unless Amazon are offering no other option (ie. hard-copy CD) the I have choice but to purchase certain albums as mp3 d/l's.
