    Apple Lossless option disabled

I can't convert to Apple Lossless. The option appears in the dropdown but is disabled.

If I try to select Apple lossless it tells me to download and install it, which I do. It takes me to the site and I go through the install..

The install detects that codec is already there and asks me to uninstall that which I do and then it installs.

Still the same result when I try to select Apple Lossless.

I purchased this software many years ago and am unsure what version I am on, I am running in Windows 10.

Do you have the Configure dBpoweramp shortcut on your desktop?

OK, you have Release 15. Why not install the latest R15 version, R15.3?

The Apple lossless encoder has been included as standard since R14, updating to R15.3 might help, as it is possible your security software is removing the apple lossless encoder dll.

When I click the check for updates option in the config app I get this ... it only offers 16.2 and not 15.3 so not sure what to do.

Excellent thanks very much for that, I'd forgotten about this process.

Installed the 15.3 version and now I have Apple Lossless enabled as well as lots of others that weren't available before
