ripping directly to vortexbox

I cannot see how to:
a) rip directly to a Vortexbox which is on the same network (at \\vortexbox\files\music\flac) rather than to the PCs hard drive and then copying, and
b) use PerfectTunes to verify the flac files already on the Vortexbox

any help greatly appreciated!

use windows to assign a drive letter to your vortexbox lfile location. I recall I had to use IP address of vortexbox.
\\192.168.x.xxx\files

then in dbpa, set directory using that drive letter.
