    Error drag & dropping .wav files to compilation. W7

    dBpoweramp CD Writer error screenshot.jpg

    Hello!

    I can't use CD Writer on Windows 7 Professional 64-bit Service Pack 1.
    I've formatted and reinstalled the same Windows 7 again, installed latest Google Chrome, dBpoweramp Release 16.1 (forcing 32-bit setup) and latest dBpoweramp CD Writer Release 4.

    As soon as I drag and drop any .wav file to the compilation window I always get the same error message, which prevents me from using the app:

    Error converting to , 'DriveLetter:\FileName.wav' to 'SameDriveLetter:\SameFileName.wav'
    Error no encoder specified. [dBCoreConverter::ParseCommandLine]

    I also tried running it in Windows XP compatibility mode, with same error.

    What is wrong with CD Writer?

    Regards.

    You installed the 32 bit version of dBpoweramp?

    Yes. By pressing the right Shift key as suggested. Files are in the x86 Program Files folder.

    I just have disabled Avira Real Time Protection.

    Same error again, no matter if I drag & drop wav or mp3 files.
