Random copy of the WAVE_FORMAT_EXTENSIBLE tag in wav file header.

I use a few old programs to modify my audio files and one that I made in python. I'm not sure how it is determined, but sometimes when I'm converting from 24 bit wav to 16 bit, the WAVE_FORMAT_EXTENSIBLE tag in the header stays. When that happens, my old programs won't open the file. The only work-around I've found so far is to open the tracks in Audacity and export them again.

It would be nice if there was a way we could force the converter to set the header to older compatible tags.
I really really don't like using Audacity.

Open dBpoweramp Control Center >> Audio Codecs 'List / options'

Set wave Encoder 'write extensible header' to never

    Thank you very much!
It would be nice if that option was on the main converter window. I'm going to have to switch it on and off a lot.
