    Red face CRCv1 CRCv2 CRC32 AccurateRip CRC

    Hello !
If anyone could kindly provide help.
I am ripping a CD with copy protection.
    Tracks 1-11 rip Accourate
    Track 12 rips Secure
    Track 13 does not exist
Track 14 has 72k and is not a song

Here is a selection from the logs: ripping Track 11 correctly and multiple attempts at ripping Track 12 (last song)

    Track 11: Ripped LBA 175769 to 205323 (6:34) in 0:10.
AccurateRip: Accurate (confidence 2) [Pass 1]
    CRC32: 6217487B AccurateRip CRC: 919CDB97 [DiscID: 013-001bbcd5-01231936-c511560e-11]
    AccurateRip Verified Confidence 2 [CRCv1 919cdb97]

    Track 12: Ripped LBA 205323 to 238002 (7:15) in 1:51.
    AccurateRip: Inaccurate (confidence 2) Secure [Pass 1 & 2, Ultra 1 to 2]
    CRC32: B2B60B0C AccurateRip CRC: 59996BCA (CRCv2) [DiscID: 013-001bbcd5-01231936-c511560e-12]

    Track 12: Ripped LBA 205323 to 238002 (7:15) in 1:50.
    AccurateRip: Inaccurate (confidence 2) Secure [Pass 1 & 2, Ultra 1 to 2]
    CRC32: 480684A2 AccurateRip CRC: 79C827E7 (CRCv2) [DiscID: 013-001bbcd5-01231936-c511560e-12]

    Track 12: Ripped LBA 205323 to 238002 (7:15) in 2:28.
    AccurateRip: Inaccurate (confidence 2) Secure [Pass 1 & 2, Ultra 1 to 5]
    CRC32: 5BA13DFC AccurateRip CRC: 31AB76E3 (CRCv2) [DiscID: 013-001bbcd5-01231936-c511560e-12]

    My 3 questions are:
What is the difference between: CRCv1, CRCv2, CRC32 and "AccurateRip CRC" ?
Why does "AccurateRip CRC" change every time I rip Track 11 ?
Why does CRC32 always change ?

    Thanks !!

The internal CRC AccurateRip uses was strengthened, hence CRCv2, most people should not concern about v1 or v2 designation.

If the CRC (accuraterip or normal) changes then the drive is giving out different data each rip, 100% certainty the rip has errors.

    Hello Spoon,
    Thanks for your reply.
The rip has errors and that is settled.
What I'm still confused about CRCs is which is which.
One is the the CRC produced by my rip and the other is the correct CRC AccurateRip has in its database for comparison. In the data log both of them seem to be changing after each rip.
As a future upgrade to you program it would be nice to have an additional column so one can compare the two CRCs during ripping

CRC and AccurateRip CRC are both from your rip, the verified value the next line is from the online database.
