    OK, good.

The log example you have provided includes the following line:
FLAC: Error unable to open File 'D:\Music\FLAC\Gerry Rafferty\The Best Of Gerry Rafferty\1/01 Baker Street.flac' for writing. [clEncoder::BeginConversion]

1/01 Baker Street.flac includes the illegal filename character / (forward slash). I am not sure why, though. Perhaps this is why there is an error.

You say earlier that you have tried this: Multi-Encoder Failed to create output file?

Thank you Spoon, that works a treat. Problem resolved with that release.

Re: First time user, have questions about errors

After ripping a cd I've got the following error message (for each track):
Error renaming 'C:\Users\xxx\Music\Patti Smith\Gone Again\07 Patti Smith - Wing._' to 'C:\Users\xxx\Music\Patti Smith\Gone Again\07 Patti Smith - Wing.flac', another program has locked the file.

I've tried different path: on my nas server, local disc, ... always the same result

Any idea what I should do?

CD Ripper >> Options Menu Button >> CD Ripper Options

Change 'When Ripping' to 'Rip Direct to Final Filenames'

Thanks, it works now - but I got a new problem: after ripping a new folder was generated with the correct name (artist name), the album art as jpeg is stored but there are no flac files - meaning: the folder is empty, just the album cover is stored???
