    Error Reading DB Command File?

I've started getting "error reading db Command file" with some files to convert. Sometimes whole folders?
    What's gone wrong?
    Thanks!

You have security software? or anti-malware?

I do. The only new anti-malware I've installed is ByteFence Anti-Malware. Could that be my problem?

Try to remove it and see if problem goes away.

Re: Error Reading DB Command File?

I just developed the same problem over the past couple of days. I do have Avast anti-virus software, thought it isn't new. Still, I tried turning it off&*8212; and I continue to get the message. Are there other frequently noted possibilities to explain this message?

            Thanks!

Re: Error Reading DB Command File?

The problem is something is stopping dBpoweramp from writing to a temp file, if you open windows file explorer and type into the address bar:

              %tmp%

this is the location it tries to write to.

I must be doing something wrong. When I type in %tmp%, I get 4957 places.

The dialog box that says "Error reading dB command file" says "Core Converter" in the left upper corner. Is that helpful?

Sorry what do you mean by "4957 places"?

"Places" may mean files/folders. I have 971 in my temp location.
