Unknown underneath Artist Name?

Hi there: what is the "Unknown" in this picture? it appears after I choose "Genre > Genre Name ".

I currently have the browsing tree to read
Genre +\artist /album
+\+\album

At a guess you are missing Artist, or possibly album artist, perhaps composer? depends on the control point.
