No folder/file tree when opening Batch Converter R16 for Mac

This is probably just something bonehead on my part, but when I open the Batch Converter for the new R16 on OsX, there is no file list / folder heirarchy on the left of the screen and there is no way to browse or select files. Is this supposed to work differently than the Windows version?

The folder hierarchy pane should be there, perhaps it's been somehow resized to null width and can be brought back by dragging the splitter. What mac OS version are you running?

That was exactly the problem. The pane divider was all the way to the left and I didn't notice that it was drag-able. The window opened with that pane configuration the first time that I ran the bathc converter. I'm running El Capitan 10.11.6.
      Thanks for your help.
