    Missing AccurateRipResult tag entry

I have had a problem crop up following an upgrade to version 16.2, although I can't swear it didn't happen before and I simply never noticed. With about 10% of the discs I rip, one of the tracks will not have the "AccurateRipResult" entry stored in the metadata tag. The log and application show that an AccurateRip result was generated. All other tag elements that I would expect to see are there, and if I re-rip the disc it is fine. I am using the Multi Encoder, going to FLAC and MP3.

Since it appears to be random I can't recreate it on demand. Has anyone else seen this happen to at least try to establish a pattern?

Some other program will have the file open after ripping so CD Ripper cannot write to it. Perhaps anti virus?

I had considered that, so I disabled the antivirus but it is still regularly occurring. It also occurs on a second computer I have, which does not have antivirus software installed. I have tried disabling everything I can think of on the box, but no dice.

One oddity worth pointing out is that, when it occurs for a track, it also happens to both the FLAC and MP3 versions of the file (I'm using the Multi Encoder). It seems strange to me that a random program would consistently grab access to both files at the same moment.

Do you rip to any special folder?

Spoon, I am ripping to a local drive.

Dat Ei, I was originally ripping to the standard Windows profile music folder (as a staging area), but began to grow suspicious that Windows might be doing something with the files in that area, so I started ripping to a sub-directory directly off of the C: drive. Same issue.

I suspect an anti-virus program is "holding/checking" some of the files at the time the program is trying to write the AR tag.
