C2 support: What does it mean for rip quality? (newbie question)
I am setting up a number of old laptops with dBpoweramp.
Some have C2 support and some do not.
My question: How does C2 support help the ripping process?
After reading Spoon's Audio Guide I guess it only means errors are detected faster (fewer passes) / more accurately?
But I may be wrong. Maybe it also does something for quality of end result?
The underlying question: Does it matter which laptop (cd drive) I use?

It is another layer of error detection, re-reads will not detect as many errors as c2
It does not matter which drive is used as long as the end result is accuraterip verified.
