What internal drive to buy for ripping audio cds

I have been using a plextor CD-ROM drive for ripping cds. It has a scsi interface and there are driver support issues. So what's the best drive for ripping?

    From the bottom
"Probably all these drives are no longer manufactured, ebay is your best bet in finding one of these drives."

Is there a list of Ines that are manufactured?

The atapi iHAS (Lite-On) 124 is readily available on eBay, and does the job.

The thread garym mentioned is well worth a read as it goes into the different versions of the 124 - also several manufacturers badge Lite-On drives.
