    No album art

The dbpoweramp CD ripper is not able to find any album artwork. I have tried many times with different CDs with no success. However, Windows mediaplayer will find album artwork instantly for the same CDs. Why is that? What do I need to do to get around the problem?

    Best regards

          Run this:

...also how to do a full reset of dBpoweramp? (if dBpoweramp crashes for some reason) Where does dBpoweramp save its files / settings? It is installed to c:\Program Files\Illustrate\dBpoweramp or c:\Program Files (x86)\Illustrate\dBpoweramp The 64 bit version of dBpoweramp is installed to: c:\Program Files\dBpoweramp It

Then re-download the registered version and install, then open CD Ripper and see if the art appears. You can download from:

It will, however this is needed in this instance to return dBpoweramp to its default settings (where the album art is known to work).

                    Spoon,

I'm using a Mac. I've removed and reloaded the dbpoweramp software. I am a registered user. I am still unable to get the artwork when I convert. I am converting an mp3 with artwork to Flac and there's no artwork. Any suggestions. Thanks

When you right click on the mp3 file >> services >> edit id tags with dBpoweramp, does it show the album art in this window?

Also converting mp3 to flac, it will not create any higher sounding quality files than the mp3, you will end up with mp3 quality files taking up 5x more hdd space (in flac).
