Question How to set the settings for maximum quality

Good day! Prompt layman, use dBpowerAMP Music Converter R16.1 to convert from FLAC to MP3, how to set the settings to produce the best quality 1) CBR ABR 320 or 320? 2) 44.1 kHz or 48? 3) stereo or joint stereo? 4) -q0 or q1 ...? 5) Can I use DSP Effects - Volume Normalize?

    1) CBR 320
    2) Match the source frequency
    3) Leave on auto for channels
    4) -q 0
    5) If you wish

-V 0 is not better than CBR 320, because it constrains the bitrate whereas CBR uses the maximum allowed bitrate for mp3.

Somewhere read that when converting to mp3 format with values -q 0 -b 320 are cut frequencies above 20.5 kHz, while stored at -V 0 to 22 kHz

You have done a listening test to see if you can hear above 20.5 KHz? An average middle age person can hear to about 14KHz.
