dBpoweramp R16 features a completely new and fresh interface design. Each aspect of dBpoweramp was evaluated with one goal, to streamline and improve user interactions, the final results speak for themselves.

CD Ripper headlines the new look, cleaner and sleeker. Discogs is added to the suite of metadata providers (including also GD3, SontadB Classical, Musicbrainz, freedb). High-resolution album art now sourced from PerfectMeta (in addition to GD3 and Musicbrainz).

Batch Converter has new filtering abilities: artists, albums or genres can be included or excluded from conversions. Coupled with new conditional encoding options (such as skipping existing destination files), it is easy creating a 2nd library for the car or phone.

ID Tag Editor sports a great design, with predictive typing, entering metadata has never been this easy.

Bug Fixes

MusicBrainz was not retriving album art
Flac tagging, if tag did not have a vendor string (non-standard) then previously was writing a 2nd tag block
[track_unpad][track_total_unpad] naming values now work
CD Ripper when ripping set to use temp folder (and move tracks after) would fail if had no album art
Album tag was being written as \n when had a ; in the title
Adding a compilation tag through tag editor would not save newly added tag
Naming Dialogs would limit to 500 characters
m4a tagging fix for mp4 files which had data block > 4GB

Music Converter, if select [Delete Selected Profile] from encoder menu, asks if should delete
