Problems converting Lossless WMAs for Sonos

I have 300GB+ of music in Lossless WMA format which I now know won't work with my new Sonos system. I've tried converting to FLAC and Apple Lossless but both result in an "unreadable format" error message. Does anyone have any guidance on what I should do to make it work?
