Yes. You can set max art size, max file size, embed or not, etc. See picture. I've set mine for 1000x1000 maximum size, to NOT embed, and to place a "cover.jpg" art file in each album subdirectory.
    CropperCapture[1].jpg

I don't actually use this function much, so when I do use it it's in manual mode. Not sure how (or if) one can run this in some sort of automatic mode. Someone else will have to chime in on how to do that if it is possible. Seems like it needs to be manual (to let user select the artwork he wants from the sometimes many options).

i just want the stock size i think most players use.......

anyway, my next question is.... will there be a "fix all" option, or will i have to scroll through, doing 1 at a time?

There is a fix all for tracks with low res art or missing.

some players will deal with cover.jpg or folder.jpg. Some players need the artwork embedded. Some players can handle large art, some choke on larger than, say 500x500. Really depends on the player.

on my phone i sync with, i use Neutron.
    i believe it prefers cover.jpg.

also, if i buy, will i get updates or will i have to buy again every new version, like some software?

    p.s. "fix all" option?

    1. spoon (the program creator) typically provides several years of free updates. Every once in a while for a really major new release, there is a new charge (usually reduced for current owners). The software is dirt cheap for what it does in any case.

    2. spoon said yes in an earlier response to you. There is a "fix all" option for albums that have either no artwork or have lo-res artwork.
